Society & Environment
The Society and Environment Faculty at Mandurah Senior College provides a
diverse range of dynamic, challenging and rewarding courses for students.
Courses such as Geography, Economics, Modern History, Politics and Law and
Tourism offer students the opportunity to develop life skills to enable them to
become more informed, productive and caring members of our community.
The staff within the faculty are highly experienced, dedicated professionals who
care greatly about students, assisting them to ensure a high level of learning
and success within each course. Additionally, staff provide effective role
modelling for students to be positive citizens in the community. With an eye to
the future, teachers in Society and Environment take great interest and pride in
seeing the positive impact made by our students in the wider world.
Society and Environment courses offer students numerous exciting co-curricular
activities to complement their learning, all of which have significant links to
the real world. These include international study trips, academic competitions,
participation in mock trials, and the development of viable employment
qualifications such as Barista and Responsible Service of Alcohol certificates
in Tourism.
With dedicated staff, excellent courses, and an interesting approach to
